Four years ago, we set out to make the hiring process as simple and efficient as possible. From our own experiences working for startups, we knew the recruiting challenges small businesses faced, and thought we could build a better way.
Since then, the market has embraced our solution beyond our wildest hopes. Over 200,000 businesses have posted a job through ZipRecruiter. More new businesses will subscribe to ZipRecruiter in 2014 than all previous years combined.
We’ve grown from four founders rotating between each others kitchen tables to over 150 smart and passionate employees. We’ve outgrown space after space. We have deployed a suite of products that are viewed as best-in-class by our industry. We have always been profitable. And now we’re ready to move on to the next stage of our success.
I’m excited to announce today that we’ve raised $63 million in Series A funding through IVP, Basepoint, and Industry Ventures. This investment will allow us to further strengthen our already top-notch customer support team, bring on more hiring experts and, most excitingly, to branch out into new products that will help HR managers do their jobs even more easily.
Just like we did in our first four years, we’ll be keeping our customers top of mind, ensuring that our products are simple, easy to use, and solve big problems. We’re excited to hit the ground running, and we’re looking forward to the next four years.
